Volunteers needed to give kids an amazing opportunity to pet animals and learn science in a fun way!

Our district has an amazing Science Resource Center (SRC) with a program where volunteers can go and learn how to teach a demo (some with live animals and all with other cool props) and then they can teach them in classrooms.

Each grade has 2-3 demos that they can have and 3rd and 5th get to take a field trip to Nature Trails. Both of these programs can only happen with volunteers. There are training dates for volunteers throughout the year and we need you to help out so your kids don't miss these wonderful opportunities! See the calendar below for September trainings. All you have to do is show up for the listed dates to be trained. If you are interested or do attend a training session or have any questions, please message me. You can let me know what grade or sessions you are interested in helping with and I will send you reminders of trainings and help get things scheduled.
