Homeroom parents bring the fun to Birkes!!!

They work with other parents in the same grade-level to coordinate and lead 2 parties during the school year. Kids LOVE these parties, and look forward to them eagerly. You will also coordinate with the teacher on any other needs that she may have for her class and arrange for Field Day accessories and water.

Homeroom parents are responsible for: 

a) planning and organizing the holiday party and end-of-the-year party (guidelines will be provided).

b) helping with Field Day.

c) attending one or two meeting during the school year.

d) helping the Homeroom teacher with various tasks, projects, etc (if requested by the teacher).

Please consider volunteering for this role, or as a helper! It’s a lot of fun and the students love to see their parents helping out! If you have already turned in a form, expect an email from me soon with more details. Looking forward to working with each of you this year!
